Location for the night

Motel 6 slc until Wednesday, assuming my truck is fixed . It finally died today in Mcammon, Id. I pulled in to the J, shut it off and fuel, it started right up. Got to the back lot and park and go in and grab a shower. Wont start. Wont turn over, cab lights flashing, quallcomm flashing, half my lights come on, the other half dont. 3 hours later the mechanic shows up hardly touches the batter cables to it and it fires right up, showing 14 volts from the alternator.

I hitail it home, talking smack to it the entire way. Drop my trailer at quala, head to the terminal amd drop the truck off, and show video of what the darn thing has been doing to the mechanics.

Never a good thing when a mechanic says "wth?"


Really not a good thing when they say it about 7 times.

If its ready on time, Ill be staying out until my last debt is paid off. Boom!


Then Ill go buy a new motorcycle and start over again lol

 

My guess is the multiplex/multiflex (whichever) experienced a traffic snarl up and couldn't figure out which to do first. Usually unhooking the battery for a minute will do a hard reset on the truck computer and you're good to go.

Or an ecu or ecm is shorted internally. It will only take 3-15 shop visits to figure out which one. Or 20-2,031 SNI shop visits.

 

Tried the hard reset. It mocked my feeble efforts. The ecu has already been replaced. Im ready to try an exorcist

I got home yesterday creeping into the driveway as my 70 was cooked. Leaving out in the morning. Can't tell if this is pathetic or a great idea but hey its parenting on a budget! Yes that is the inside of a Huggies box. For the thousands and thousands of dollars I've given them over the years, it's about time they gave us something to do with their packaging. I'm going with great idea.

 

Well in all Honesty, I've got to give my wife the credit.

I was in the barn and she walked up and took the picture.

I never think to take awesome pictures, well none I could post on here......LOL.
