Eh I spent a year in a white cascadia. It got dirty but only to a point. In that year I went through a few dozen of those OC washes that didn't do anything and one blue beacon that was awesome and then 30 miles later the truck was back to the off white that it's permanently going to be.

It all depends on how obsessed you are with having the truck shiny all the time. If you're more into having it work, who cares about the color? If white is a small margin cooler, isn't it worth it?

I haven't noticed a difference (but we're not in summer yet).

If we want to get into paint choices that reflect heat then we need to start talking about IR paint and gloss coat composition.

Or better yet let's run apus and then not need to worry about a 5% reflective difference.

My truck has clean patches - door handles and sideboxes (the things I touch with a bare hand). On my gray truck they weren't noticible unless you got close. The white truck shows it all and makes me feel like people are judging me.

I gave up on trying to keep mine squeaky clean. All of our lots in Kenton are dirt. Everything gets either covered in mud or dust and you get that grey film that can only be scrubbed off. I bobtail alot which doesnt help. If it passes the 15 ft. test, I'm happy. I did run it through the wash at Indy before I hit the sack this morning. Although I would've been better off just spitting on it. Hopefully I can break out the pressure washer and brush when I get home.

Those truck washes at ocs are a joke. They are only good for getting some bugs off and checking the windshield for leaks.

Agreed. Today was actually the first time I used one at an OC. Needless to say I was a bit disappointed. Luckily I didn't expect a whole lot from an automatic wash. Or better yet, a spray down.

Deliver tomorrow in Prattville at 1800. Remarks has stipulations; m-f live unloads, trailer 10yrs and older must be live unloaded. I have a 94 series so sent message for sos to maybe eventually get to.

Since pilot bought out Wilco Hess, it seems that the pilot/flying js are going down hill fast. Stores being dirty, flies, flies, more flies and workers that seem to care even less.

Hit the entrance road to the Kostner yard with 1 minute on the clock. Jill got to wear her new ball gag and matching blindfold :headbang:

The J in big springs, NE. I go out of my way to park all the way in the back away from everybody and I get woken up at 2 a.m. because two reefer drivers parked on either side of me with a reefer unit set at high idle. it's reasons like that I can't carry a gun. Not a single truck on either side for four or five spots and they've got a park next to me. I don't know what it is about this particular truck stop, but it is is an A-hole magnet. Tons of CB Rambo's, meth heads, and just ignorant &_$#ers.

Then I catch this gem as I was fueling this morning.

Just parked in Kenton. Headed for home tonight with a 2 stopper for Long Island City and Brooklyn. Don't expect me to be in a good mood on tuesday.

Either that jug has been sitting in his truck for a week or that dude is seriously dehydrated. Sorry excuse for a human either way.
