Location for the night

At the house until Monday. Spent all day yesterday doing massive amounts of ugly clean out the hedges work and have a massive pile of brush to prove it. Ended the day throwing the transmission belt on my lawn mower with the grass about halfway cut. So, we get to start the day by wrenching on the mower. Yea me.....
Driving truck is a lot easier

where are you in relation to the expected path of Florence?

 

I am in the Greensboro region. About 2nrs from the coast. I just got a phone call, and we are on standby to go on State Active Duty. We have 12 hrs to get to the armory, once we get the call. The storm should hit the coast Friday I think.

 

if you were under load would you get a pass to drop it for reassignment? or would they penalize you for that and canceling whatever you had booked?

 

A couple of years ago, we got a call to help SC. I was under a load and had to relay it. I did not have to pay the relay fee.

 

At least SNI isn't dumb enough to argue with the military. I'm hunting for contingencies at the moment (currently under load to Savannah delivering Thursday). My load after that is supposed to deliver near Charlotte on Friday.

Gonna see what I can do to find something heading west instead of North.

I got the call. The have activated us. I have to report to the armory NLT 1900 today. We had already prep,our vehicles this past weekend. We probably stay at the armory tonight .
