    Yep, live and learn.

The wiper thing. I guess you're conditioned that as soon as something goes wrong to call in for instructions. The thing is, sometimes you have to use your head first. Staying on the shoulder for hours is not something you do if you can at all avoid it.

Next time something like this happens try to figure a way to get to a safer spot on your own. I guess I can understand why you contacted the company and then did what they told you to but left to your own I'm pretty sure you would have grabbed the passenger side wiper and got to a safer place and then contacted the company.

You seriously don't get what were trying to tell you?? Lets Forget the fact you were willing to call road service to bring you out a wiper. Lets Focus on safety! Do you think it was safe to sit Unnecessarily on the shoulder of the road on a 70mph interstate hwy? Or any road for that matter? And then get in the sleeper for 4 hours while sitting on the shoulder? ? You should have swapped the wiper immediately so you could get off the road and went to the truckstop and bought another one. I have seen a 4wheeler run up under a truck on the shoulder and its not pretty. Fatality is sure to happen. Did you really need dispatch to ask you to swap the wipers?? You really have absolutely no idea how dangerous it is to sit on the shoulder? Obviously you don't because you crawled back in the sleeper for 4 hours! Start applying common sense your life might depend on it.

Next time try other keys first before you break the window.I once unlocked Volvo with the key from another Volvo and lately I unlocked different Volvo with a key from Prostar.

Last time I tried to go to dealer for a key they said $50 and werner would have to give them the key code. I just have a terminal driver bring a key from their shop. So many drivers in and out of the trucks on our yard it's not reliable to go just anywhere.

    #### gump your a genius . lol i was thinking the same thing or if you stand the wiper arm outright there a little tab you pull out and the whole arm comes off the shaft unhook the washer fluid hose and done... i want to believe this is a hoax but man this is so funny im about to cry lol

Lowe's and Ace and others have the flat plain metal blanks and can duplicate them. Freightliner, International, and Volvo all use the same Chrysler keyway.

As others have suggested hiding a key somewhere outside the truck is a great way to prevent this... I got in the habit working at my first company which already provided one hid for us. Saved my rear numerous times cause I'm the worlds worst about jumping and hitting the lock button on the way then remembering I didn't grab me keys lol.
