Anyone ever have an issue with a 2015 international prostar driver side or both side locking by itself while hooking and pre tripping a trailer?

The doors just lock themselves?
Don't those things have fan windows?

The 1998 Ford Explorer my wife had would only have to move what felt like an inch before the doors would lock. I wouldn't say it's inconceivable that newer trucks wouldn't have a similar quirk.freebirdusa Thanks this. -
My 2000 9900i used to lock me out occasionally. So did my Mack CH and CL's. Some had remotes, some didn't. All were electric locks though.
After the first time I learned to zip-tie a key under the hood somewhere, LOL.freebirdusa and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
I sometimes drive a 4400 box truck, and it's locked me out before. International only has, like, three keys. Find someone else who drives an international, any type, and ask to use their key. You've got a 1 in 3 shot of it opening your door too.

The freightliner I drive doesn't have power locks but my previous company had kw's that had power locks and I had issues with these cheap locks sticking.freebirdusa Thanks this. -

Does that have the same door panels as a 4300 or 8600? I have frequently hit the door lock button on these trucks while opening the door.

It is rare, but some wiring can pinch, or the simple banging of the door when closed can trigger the door lock. I always put the windows down on every truck I work on, and when it is running and I am out of the cab for any reason just because of this. If you do have a vent window you can get coat hanger in between the window seal and bend it just right to hit the unlock button pretty easy.
