Locking mechanism for trailer dolly crank

    I've dropped trailers on the street before, but when I did I always pin locked it, glad hand locked it, and removed the crank handle. Never had one stolen, but that's not to say it couldn't have happened. It would more than likely have taken a HD wrecker to do it, as the time involved in preparing the trailer to be stolen with a tractor probably would make the average trailer thief kinda nervous....

    Most thieves are like most predators, they look for the weak one in the group and zero in on it... They're looking for the easy kill, and the best way to avoid them is by making your target as difficult and unappealing as possible....

    weld some tabs on the gear and the handle and use your lock of choice.
