you just have to make sure your book shows you took an 11 hour break that night. log the times by whatever your watch says, start your break before you reset the watch and end it after you reset it. then in the spring you can actually get away with showing a 9 hour break. just like crossing time zones, my book always goes by my watch.

I thought it was "Spring forward , Fall back "
Every time this comes around it reminds me of one year I was working a 12 hour night shift in a production plant with a Polish immigrant . We explained he would work and extra hour that shift and why . He asked how many hours he would be paid . We lied and told him 12 . He said "O.K. 2 a.m. you turn the clock back . I go to sleep . Wake me up at 2 a.m. . "

It is spring forward and fall back. You get an extra hour of sleep in the fall and lose it in the spring!

Reminds me of one medical call. Left the scene right before the time change and arrived at the hospital about 40 minutes earlier. Really confusing on the documents that required the exact times of the event.

I use my cell phone for a watch . When I go from Eastern to Central time it will not switch unless it is shut off and restarted . I work out of Central time and it really has messed me up trying to do my logs at the end of a trip .

My hubby goes off the clock in the truck, as his cell phone changes automatically even if it's on.

I have to log terminal time for Indiana which drives me nuts sometimes.

The first comment I have received during my two level 1's was the log time zone I use.
