    I have been out of trucking for 2 years, any new updates with log books and HOS. I know about 11/14 and 34hr resets. Heard something about having to log off duty after 8hrs for lunch. Does this count against your 14? I will be running Fresno, CA to Fontana, CA about 510mi a turn.

    Yes it does and also some new laws on the 34 hour break.

    Do a search and you will find many threads on the new hours of service.

    30 minute break within 8 hours and the 34 hour reset has to include 2 periods of 1 to 5 am. its not as bad as some make it out to be.
