HI I did some research and came up with this site that has a very informative slideshow showing H.O.S. (Hours of Service)---logbook calculations and procedures along with lots of information on other "safety" issues. good refresher course for some and a wealth of information for others --It was last updated in Jan 09. Happy Logging!!
the link below is for the "slideshow " presentation

IF anyone has any other known sites or "easy to understand" info to help understand the logbook please post them, Logbooks are one of the more complicated processes in learning to drive OTR, and if done wrong can be a real problem

Then go to the reference materials listed below.southbaydad Thanks this. -
Log books are as easy as basic adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing. Of course if you failed 8th grade math I could see where it's hard. Guess you will really be confused when they change them in 2011. What with all that new math to learn.
supdty93 Thanks this. -

with the 2011 changes you speak of maybe it will be MANDATORY that every one is on electronic logs by then....... no math needed,!! drive safeLast edited: Dec 25, 2009
