Logging bunk trailer lease rates?

Hey all, sorry if this is the wrong forum, I wasn't sure where to post.
We bought a logging trailer last year, long story short logging didn't pay as well as we thought and we didn't run it this year. It's been sitting and we posted it for sale, got an email from a guy asking if we would lease it. Has anyone leased their logging trailer out or leased one from someone else? We aren't sure what rate would be fair, or how to protect ourselves if someone decided not to take care of it. I looked online and the rates vary a huge amount.
