My dear wife and I are going to orientation on Monday Nov 1. This is after a 3.5 year vacation away from the truck, and we both drove solo the last few years before our vacation. One of my concerns is keeping our log books as lean as possible.

Previously in my career, I have adjusted my driving/working time and schedule, in hopes of logging it, as close as I can, to doing it, while conserving as much of my 70 as I can . Today, Im asking how do you, as a team, manage your time and log, to ensure that you are never forced to give your DM the bad news that someone on your team is out of hours?

We have discussed it a little and she wants to drive the 2am to 2pm shift and for me to drive the 2pm to 2am shift. This is as far as we've got...
