Why’d you even bother to jump in? Not like you had anything to add other than some aboutism. Seriously it’s the nonsense that jumps in and ruins these types of threads.
Nothing wrong with a healthy debate as long as everyone keeps it clean
Just a simple debate on an issue I’m sure some of the new drivers would like to understand.

Good grief, they're not gonna kick you off the planet for this crap. I get the desire to completely understand the rules, but wtf difference does it make. The key is to be rested prior to driving.

No, it doesn't. Ryder trucks gross out at 26,000 and don't require a CDL.
Trucks with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of less than 26,000 lbs are considered Class 6 trucks and are considered medium duty vehicles. Some examples of Class 6 trucks include: Ford F-650, International Durastar, and GMC Topkick C6500.
Vehicles with a GVWR under 26,000 lbs do not require a commercial driver's license (CDL). -
No, it changed to box trucks, and it wasn't by me.
I gave an example of another type of truck that doesn't have to use sleeper berth on their logs. -
You didn’t upset me, brother. It’s TTR, gets a little nutty now and then.Razororange, Oxbow and Big Road Skateboard Thank this.

Yea, its proof you can lead a horse to knowledge but you can't make him think.
When someone LITERALLY says "Show the regulation that states that you must log yourself in sleeper when in the sleeper or admit you're wrong" you realize it's a futile effort.
I never saw a regulation saying I couldn't run 4 wheelers off the road who piss me off so my next time out will be MUCH more thrilling.Last edited: Sep 29, 2024
