Ok, let's be clear...........if OFF DUTY; you are OFF DUTY. None of their business if you slept in the truck, in a motel, or in your future ex-girlfriend's bed. The sleeper berth thing is a "new" piece of easy fodder that WY has picked up on of late. We put up with it; they will interpret it to suit them. Every other industry it's the other way around.

Only once did I try the Data Q thing. But it does go back to the same cop that gave you the ticket to review it. Like he's going to change his mind then.

I was told you have to prove that. you have to keep the receipt and all that. Who cares?

what if I wasn't at a hotel? what if I have family who came to see me and I spent the night with them? how do I prove that?

you spend the night in another drivers truck, how do you prove that?

incorrect, if you're sitting in the passenger seat its line 1, if you're in the sleeper berth its line 2.

that seems like arguing semantics, but whatever

When he asked, were you in the sleeper the whole time? Start coughing without covering your mouth and tell him you stayed in the sleeper because you have the flu.

i cant believe so many people are drinking the koolaid
these people saying log it like you do it
better not ever get up have a smoke during their mandatory 8 sleeper break
or they can start all over

I go thru the Cheyenne and Evanston POE every week
never asked for anything other then my permit book and product
    never even asked for BOL
    I must look honest

I did offer them a donation so they could get more green lights for the open sign

me: I was off duty. Can I go now?
