    Looking to owning a truck. Are the logging or gravel jobs hard to find here in Livingston Parish, Louisiana? How much pay if I own my own equipment?
    How much insurance do I need to do either one. Maybe haul heavy equipment here local would be nice also.

    Here is the best advice any good exp. drive will give you. Don't buy your own truck untill you have atlest 2 yrs of driving otr behind you. Untill then you have no idea what you are doing or are getting into. This is an industy where one small mistake can cost you everything. Even your freedom. So don't jump into it thinking you can run with the big dogs.

    Not to mention good luck getting insurance with no experience. Or getting shippers or brokers to take you seriously.
