So, just out of curiosity, I did a quick pre-app a few weeks ago to see what a local DCS job from my area that was listed entailed. Of course now I get the phone calls and e-mails. Anyway, today I get an e-mail from them with this as the first paragraph.
Thank you for your recent interest in a driving career at J.B. Hunt Transport. We are pleased to inform you that we currently have exceptional driving jobs available for professional drivers in TAMAQUA, PA.
So then I click the link to see what exceptional jobs they actually have in the Tamaqua area and this is what comes up.

I have heard a lot of drivers was baited by them. They go to orientation for a certain gig, that somehow got filled. You can go OTR and wait for an opening....
-
At least it's a step in the right direction! -
Thats a common tactic at a lot of companies.
You jump thru more hoops then ever to get hired
then they tell you goin OTR after they promised
you dedictaed regional.
NO thanks, NOT interested! -
They tried that with me a few years ago. They offered me a position on the phone home every day and paying over 50,000 a year doing Sam's Club in University Park,Il. I went and did drug test and road test in Chicago and then was supposed to go to orientation after my 2 week notice was over at the company I was with. Well a few days before I was to start orientation they call me to tell me things I will need to bring and she says bedding and at least 2 weeks worth of clothing. I say wait a second I am going on a dedicated position home every day and she says oh you will be eventually but you have to go otr for 6 months first. I just started laughing and said no thanks.

I did a pre-hire with ol' JB a few weeks ago; figured since I'm local in AR, I might take a look at a few of their DCS positions. I didn't even go so far as to orientation; red flags popped up when the recruiter called me to tell me that I needed to make up my mind and that there were "only two of these jobs left". I swear, it was worse than talking to a telemarketer.
