not impressed with this co. at all. They talk about being professional, but it's all talk. At orientation the class was subject to verbal abuse and ridicule. We were treated like unwanted step- children. Most of the time we were being threatened with getting fired for one reason or another, not a very encouraging atmosphere. By the way I did get dismissed. Why I don't know? Their excuse was fabricated. They said I was rude to several individuals, one of them being a workers comp. rep. So I called the rep. and thanked him for getting me fired. He was absolutely shocked, and said he didn't have a clue as to what I was talking about. When I told him the individuals name
who made the accusation, the rep. said he never even spoke with him. I had to pay my own way home, (986.00) Tx. to Sc. They also zeroed out my com data account on
my first paychk and haven't received it yet, which is in violation of the Tx. workforce comm. They said they would reimburse me for expenses home, ha ha ha. I would not recommend these thugs to anyone. If you like flatbed work as I do, I would look else where.

Sounds like the OP wised off to the wrong guy.
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
Don't we all just love un-detailed unfinished stories?
DrtyDiesel Thanks this. -
Wow I know 6 drivers over there and have never heard anything like this!
-
somehow without a doubt i believe there's more to this story that is NOT being told. go figure
-
I don't believe it. I've spoke with multiple guys on here and I've been told nothing but praise for lonestar. There's got to be more to the story.

lol yeah they're so bad in fact that when I asked to go to visit my Grandpa for hometime in the next couple weeks, they pulled my preplan right then and got me a load going there tomorrow. Sounds to me like Ron got to this one though. Need a thicker skin maybe.
Speedemon1084 and DrtyDiesel Thank this. -
Ron tries to intimidate people. Sounds like he succeeded with this one.

This sounds like that stuff that's left in a bull wagon after a load of bulls are dropped off. I went to LoneStar's orientation. I was dismissed because one company gave me a bad report. I have nothing bad to say about Mr. Ron or anyone else there. I never found him to be intimidating. He's the type of guy that tells like it is. You don't have to like it but that's the way you're gonna get it. Even after I was dismissed I was treated with respect. They brought me to the hotel, let me stay there for the rest of the day, PAID for my ticket home, and sent a taxi to bring to the bus stop. Sounds to me like somebody got butthurt because he can't take it when a man talks to him like a man.
lonelyswmtrucker, Speedemon1084 and Tennessee Trucker Thank this.
