Well, not like I expected any less, but my truck is the shop yet again. Thankfully I'm kind of close to home this time as I have a very important personal matter coming up next week. This is getting ridiculous. Anyway, good luck with the rest of orientation txq.

Appreciate it. What's wrong with your truck this time? Are you on the Gainesville yard? I passed my Physical. Got my road test tomorrow and I have to go to OKC Thursday to get my TWIC. Then we go meet TEX Friday and then I am off to securement training next week.

Sent in my application this weekend. Hope to hear from them Monday or Tuesday. I've got some flatbed experience and limited lowboy (RGN?) experience.
How does the layover pay work. It seems y'all have to sit quite a bit do to circumstances beyond your control. I understand #### happens but if you're getting paid it makes it a little easier to deal with.
I've been following this thread and it seems like this is the kind of company I'd like to work for. -
If I can remember right it's $15/hour after the first hour.
-
that's detention pay txqtrucker and it starts after two hours, layover pay I want to say starts after 24 hours waiting and available for a load but truthfully I've never had to ask for it so I can't say for certain what it pays, heard everything from $100 to $150 a day, we don't sit that much normally.
-
While I was there I put in for layover twice... it's 10/hr up to 10 hours per day.
AZS Thanks this. -
They sent the employment verification to my current job today. Hope to get word on an orientation date by the end of the week.
