I have a delivery to the long beach convention center Tuesday morning.
Where would be the best close by place to stay Monday night?

I do not know if Walmart will let you park there but you can call and find out

    Long Beach Walmart Store #2949
    151 E 5Th St Long Beach, CA 90802
    Phone: (562) 435-8389
From what I've read, it's like .6 miles from where you need to be.

[Best thing to do is camp up at Flying J Barstow till around 2 in the morning then hit the gas and head on it to LA it beats driving around looking for a park.

Whats wrong with the 24 hour cafe on Anaheim in Long Beach? The have truck parking, food, restrooms, & showers.....

I park there every time I'm down that way.

Beats sitting at a National truck stop chain that invites cops onto the property to give you a idling ticket.

    area1509 Thanks this.

While I have never delivered there--I have done some trade show work over the years--and in my experience most convention centers etc--have what are known as Marshalling yards--where you check in to deliver to any of the convention(etc type sites)--these are usually close to--but not on site--it keeps the place from being a cluster--and conventions etc--have to load in--in a very specific way--so the loads can be sent to the hall in order they are needed--So I would check with the center/and or shipper about it--
Now I do not know what you are delivering there--but if it doesn't have to do with an incoming convention or show--the marshalling yard should still be available to you
