Long Dormant Fontainebleau Las Vegas Project Is Finally Moving Forward

Means more traffic on the 15 when I go visit my son…….. BUT…… I drive out there/leave late night and return at night also, off peak days of course.

 

What about those large boulders placed in parking to deter truckers from coming in and tearing stuff up?

 

Is the old El Rancho sign still out there in front? I remember back in 2008 or 09, the sign was there with a wrap on it. After a heavy wind the wrap came off exposing part of the original El Rancho name. I took a picture of it from over by were the Stardust stood, now Resorts World. I like the new places, but always like the history vibe of the old joints.

 

Scheduled for 2036 implosion

 

The new, large places are too big and costly to implode that soon. I suspect we will see much longer shelf life for any strip casino build in the last dozen years or so.
