I am going on vacation in Cape Coral/Fort Myers Florida area in a week. Is there a place in that area that I could park a tractor for two weeks? Here's the catch... I would like all of it there when I go to leave.

Not sure how close you need to be to Fort Myers?
I can give you a name of a place near the Sarasota airport who could accommodate you.
About 70 miles from Fort Myers.

I would like to keep it a bit closer, but what is the name of the place you are thinking of?

    Hulld Thanks this.
  5. there ought to be some rent a foreigner lot said it probably let you park in the dirt lot and leave your stuff there..what I would do is just do a Google search put in truck paid parking that area and see what comes up..
there's a lot of these European Chicago places that are like that Chicago Truck Park here okay safe than you pay like a fee be like a hundred and fifty bucks for a month or something which covers your car left and then the truck when you returned it's like a permit..
either that or if you're down there what you might want to do is go near the pilot around Fort Myers and leave it all intact and just call yourself an Uber just a thought or rent a car and leave your truck parked there use Enterprise will come and pick you up..

I have found some searching on Craigslist and did find several places that "look" ok, but I want to see the place in person. I just want to feel.safe about the place.

The place I’m talking about is university Self storage.
I have had a spot there for the last four years.
It’s an easy place to get in to and there have been zero issues there as the sheriffs department also runs a patrol thru the parking lot every night.
I keep the spot year around even though I am only there full time from January to March.
I use the spot intermittently the other months to stage vehicles for transport when I’m on the west coast.
Great people in the office also.

The places I have looked at, are all fenced in and private, with cameras and keypad gates. Google shows that the neighborhood looks like it's secure. The prices are around $130, like you said.
I did find out that some places do not allow a tractor to park on their property, because the folks with the motor coaches do not like parking next to a semi truck. I didn't realize that they would catch coodies from parking near me!
