Similar thing happened to me in Hialeah, FL...picking up a load of some 2500 individual boxes of clothing. Got the trailer halfway loaded when they realized they mislabled a majority of it. Had to pull out of the door, park in a lot across the street, eat off the local taco truck (which did not agree with me), and finally get out of there middle of the afternoon the next day....but at least it wasn't a weekend!

I spent 13 hours in and out of a loading dock in a produce place in Bakersfield once. They totally loaded and unloaded my trailer 7 times while they tried to get it to pass the scale.

I was not a happy camper.

One time I waited two hours for a yard dog to pull a empty from the door so I could hook onto it at a Walmart DC in GA.

Had a 3 day long unload a while back at a hole in the wall distributor. Apparently they mistyped the load number into their system and locked it down. When they tried to fix it, they broke the whole system. Had to wait for their tech to come from three states over to fix it.
Got a letter of thanks from my boss, her boss, and his boss, all thanking me for not reaching through the glass and strangling somebody.

Do you have the phone # for the trailer pool there? I learned to call ahead; if my load won't be ready for a day or so, I let my dispatch know what's going on - they can either find me another load or I'll BT back to the house til it's ready. :D

I got schnookered into a Sears load once in Union City, GA. Two store employees took 13 hours to unload maybe 350 boxes. I marched back to the dock area to find them just hanging around doing nothing. Called dispatch, unhooked, parked it in the middle of the lot and ordered pizza.
