Rates have been good enough long enough that this makes this even more frustrating. Yeah, he could have just bought the truck or something but I I doubt it.

Besides needing his head examined Lol. Needs to see why it's wearing like that. Guaranteed he's got front end issues. Sadly it's gonna take an incident like blowing a steer next to a car with a family inside to wake this stupid ####er up. He'll be out of the industry then

    No. He was bobtailing.

Here's the Company.... VSC Logistics Veteran's Shippers & Carriers VSC Freight VSC Team Trucking - Logistics, Freight Quote, Carriers, Logistics

    REPORT HIM. 833-872-5623

Someone should be able to ID the tractor based on the last few #s on in the pic. He was here at the Murfreesboro, TN Pilot around 1:30 PM 3-15-21. Younger African American dude. He said he was shutdown for a week here.

I didn't have the time right then to get more info, but I sure as hell reamed his ### out about this tire ! I was in his face telling him that tire WILL BLOW UP and probably KILL innocent people ! He got my message LOUD and CLEAR.

Wait a minute Bucky, don’t tell any of us to call, this is on you. We didn’t see it, we were not there, it is your responsibility if you care anything about it.

If you have time to take images of the problem, you have time to call.

I don't recommend confronting a driver like this. This situation reminds me of a time about 20 years ago. I was coming out of Atlanta at the time working a dedicated account headed to Dallas. In Mississippi, I was passed by a driver that was all over the road. This was around 2 in the morning. I contacted this guy via CB and in talking to him discovered he was pushing being awake for about 20 hours. I offered to buy him a cup of coffee, but he refused. So I got out my old bag phone and opened my phone book to where I kept some weigh station phone numbers. I warned that guy openly I was going to contact DOT if he did go past Jackson. He did and I called the Louisiana scale. By the time I got there, he had been pulled over. However, openly confronting a driver like this right or wrong is a great way to get hurt!

This is the kind of crap that affects everyone out here and only hurts our industry. I thought, ok, what would one do in this situation.
    1. Call 911 if it's an emergency (which this really should be).
    2. File a complaint with the FMCSA by calling 1-888-DOT-SAFT (888-368-7238) or by filing an online complaint at NCCDB - National Consumer Complaint Database which from my understanding becomes a part of the companies permanent record, and the FMCSA will investigate.
    3. Report the safety violation to the state department of transportation in which the company is located as all states impose their own rules and requirements in addition to the federal level.
