For the last several years I have at least 2 times a month made contact with someone's safety dept with either a photo or video of a driver yanking a stupid. Sometime's it's a video I made or it is a video someone has sent me to send in. Some carriers I CC the video to the FMCSA and they can see it's been CCed to the FMCSA.

@SilverBulletBand you really need to do a lot of reading and rethink all of this. Who put you in a truck without knowing what OOS and belly wrap is?

I AM NOT being a jerk here....imagine my tone (hard here on keyboards I know) as being one of dead seriousness and genuine concern....nothing more.

I am worried. Your truck looks like the arse of a fat guy that can't reach to wipe and now.....after almost losing a load....I don't know man.

What company (DOT# please) are you running for?

If it were me, I would notify the state police. Drivers are killed by steer tire failures. It'll be a hard lesson for this driver, but he needs to learn it. And you may save his life or someone else's life.

I agree 100% with you. Absolutely. SItuational awareness... I'm Retired Military and former LEO. I did NOT just go up to him and start screaming like a raging lunatic or a physically aggressive manner. There's ways of talking and confronting with people without getting into an argument or fight. I know, in this day and age where everyone is defensive and jacked off....

Anyways, He was parked in the fuel lane, right next to the sidewalk to walk into the store. He was in the driver's seat. I first calmly asked him IF he was aware of the bad tire. He looked dumb founded and was NOT aggressive AT ALL. I asked him to come look at it. He got out and walked over to it with me.

I was VERY FIRM, telling him this tire WILL BLOW OUT.... it will not just go flat but EXPLODED. I told him FIRMLY this WILL KILL PEOPLE to include not only his family and friends, but OUR's too ! I reamed his ### out but was NOT going to get into a PHYSICAL confrontation and he was in no way being defensive or an ####### about it. I pleaded with him to get it fixed NOW and referred him to a close by truck tire shop. I wish him well and told him I was very concerned about HIS Safety and LIFE as well. He was very appreciative actually listening to me go off. He knew I wasn't attacking him PERSONALLY. I then went back to work.

This all makes me sick! I literally jump all over anything and everything that is wrong with my truck. From rust to tires to every single imaginable tiny detail. And then you have POS drivers/carriers with POS trucks and POS tires making us all look bad and putting peoples lives in danger.

Rates could be $10/mile for everyone but, without a doubt their will still be O/O that simply cannot run a business or budget money whatsoever.

"Run em 'til they blow",,I think this tire was damaged, like chunks taken out, and they kept driving on it. Must have shook like a whoxx in church,,,I don't think they'd even cap this.
