D P Curtis, Richfield, Ut, not a good choice, trucks aren't bad, but the owner has a very bad temper and every employee is just one bad day away from losing there job, don't expect any help from dispatch or HR when you are ordered to do something crazy or stupid. Company can't seem to see the "big picture" and just seems to be "putting out fires" all the time (mostly by demanding drivers to do crazy or illegal things)
Look elsewhere than D P Curtis

They degrade us every chance they get ,its part their game plan to dumb us down ...tell your boss to get it there himself
-
Bad planning on someone else's part doesn't constitute an emergency on mine.

D P Curtis will RIP U OFF!! They consider vacation pay and safety bonus money a "reward" not earned money. So if you quit ( even with notice) they will not pay you out the money you earn for vacation or safety bonus

Don't know they do things in your state .. But in my state, vacation pay and bonus pay are accrued wages and the employer is required to pay them on your last day of work.. D P
Curtis is in Utah, and although
they promise to pay vacation pay, they will not .. -

"Neither Utahs Legislature nor its courts have given any significant guidance regarding other potential vacation policy issues. They are silent regarding whether an employer may:
establish a policy or enter into a contract denying employees payment for accrued vacation leave upon separation from employment,
deny payment for accrued vacation to an employee upon separation from employment if its policy or contract is silent on the matter,
require an employee to comply with specific requirements to qualify for payment of vacation leave upon separation from employment, such as giving two weeks notice or being employed as of a specific date of the year"
I've also found nothing stating whether or not the bonuses count as accrued wages, so I don't claim anything but prior dealings with companies in another state.
