    The flatbeds in Indiana Ohio and Michigan are used mostly for coils, so you're right, no forklift needed.

    There are B trains where the rear trailer has a front roll up door and a ramp between the trailers, but they're pretty rare and usually only seen on a standard B train vans, not the LCV/s.

    In the 80's I pulled B train reefers on a regular basis.
    In any case, the suspension and 5th wheel tuck under the trailer for loading or when used as a straight trailer so docking them is easy.
    You back the pup to the dock, unhook, move the suspension then back the lead to the dock.
