Ha Ha, was that the company that shut down and sent all of their drivers packing! And they left the drivers stranded sitting at the dealership or location that they were at? I really would understand it. Thanks.

No Pape Transport is alive and well. I believe he was aiming this thread at cpape who is one of the sons of the founder of the company. He is also regularly on this site. If I am wrong about that please correct me.

think you're referring to Arrow. That happened around December 2009. Bad times for everyone. I was loading on a Tuesday in Houston, Pre loaded trailer, 3 am. Had an Arrow driver loading, going to the same destination. The sun came up and Arrow was gone. And their drivers were up She it Creek without a paddle.

The thing that gets me is I heard about Arrow terminating all of their owner ops 6 months before. That's a MAJOR warning sign that the ship is in trouble.

Other signs that your ship is sinking

    1. Fuel cards quit working across the board, and your company starts having you fill out t checks or efs.
    2. ****Your payroll check bounces.
    3. Turnover rate in management rivals the driver turnover rate (when the rats start running, there is imminent danger)
    4. What you were making in a week, now takes a month.

There were quite a few of the companies that about went under in 2009. Anyways, didn't mean to thread jack.

You may be thinking of Arrow Transportation that was out of Tulsa. Their trucks were white with green lines
