Storage is one thing trips are a different thing.

Storage you need a trailer that's dry the door open and closes and the floor is solid. Roadworthy is a whole another thing. Suspension tires drums cams bushings brakes lights Airlines brake Chambers relay valves crossmembers kingpin... You need something decent.

Best if you want to buy something old for storage then just buy a regular size trailer for your trips instead of doubles. Who wants to mess around with the dolly converter and all that anyway? And you can't back them up either.
