Looking at going OTR

Alright so I have my CDL and I’ve been driving local for almost 5 years, but recently we’ve had some life change and I need to earn a bit more money. So my question is are there OTR jobs that I can reliably make $85,000+ I see a lot advertising it but then I read a lot saying they’re full of it and I’m not going to really be able to do a guess and check thing here. I don’t mind driving long shifts as long as I’m within legal limits driving doesn’t bother me at all it’s kind of why I choose this profession. I can’t do any hazmat because I was a stupid teenager but otherwise I’m willing to do about anything here, though little hesitant on teams and the whole basically living with someone I don’t know.

 

I am unfortunately living in Utah lol it’s not so bad but short of one of the main guys like CR England or SWIFT but I haven’t heard the best of things…
