because they can't get enough driver to fill the positions, plus I've seen dogs cleaner than some truck drivers, so whats the difference between a dog and a filthy truck driver.

    **UPDATE**
GP Transco was NOT a good fit for me, but that doesn't mean they won't be a good fit for another driver. They told me i could be home every weekend and were not able to hold up there end of the bargin on that one. I will continue to update about other companies that have pet policies.
If anyone has any good recommedations on O/O companies let me know, I am going back to running my own truck.

    arni Thanks this.

I talked to a Wilson Logistics driver the other day with two large dogs in his truck. He was a L/O.

May Trucking has no weight limit. Crete/Shaffer says 60 lbs but I told them my dogs closer to 70 and they said no one is going to check. My current company said they have a 20 lb limit but accepted my dog anyway. The moral of the story is if a company allows dogs at all, they could make an exception for big dogs if you’re upfront and they think you’re a good candidate

Miss Ed and arni Thank this.

I think carriers should have a 2 person limit for each truck.

I think Carriers should do a IQ test on drivers, that'll eliminate a lot of the morons that shouldn't be driving a truck.

    Not likely to ever happen.
As long as said driver can pass a driving test, and physical, and did not like about recent felonies. And breathes air.

You don't need to pay stupid people much.
