On may, 9th I will have 6 months valid experience. In my first week driving solo I had a minor accident involving property damage in nj when I did a u-turn in a truck stop. They had a police officer onsite for secuity and the cop wrote me a careless driving ticket. I didn't know that ticket was bad so I paid it since it had a very small fine amount and he only gave me 14 days. What companies will hire with that ticket I have read that I maybe screwed for 3 years working for Trans Am.

Do you really want to leave TransAm? How is it working there?
You're not screwed. Try South East Carriers in Lawrenceburg, TN. They do lots of West Coast and NO Northeast!
Danny Herman Trucking in Moutain City,TN and also lots of West Coast and NO Northeast.
    Abilene Motor Express
Freymiller may take you because they hire new cdl grads and you have experience. The website has experience required, but that's incorrect.
    Kold Trans
    ProCraft Boats - Murfreesboro,TN
    Tyson Foods
    Navajo Express
    Paschall Truck Lines
    R.E. West
    Ard Trucking Company
    USA Truck

Start submitting applications and something will go through.

Mistakes happen. As Chinatown pointed out, you're not screwed. Learn from it, don't make the same mistake again. Be thankful no one was hurt...just your pride.

If at all possible, try to get a full year with Trans Am. The forum often points out that many more doors will start opening for you after a full year of experience.

Either way, good luck to you! God bless you and your family!

God bless every American and their families! God bless the U.S.A.!

If hometime is a high priority, then also add Big G Express and A&R Logistics.

The way it's working here is terrible sometimes I get 2500 miles sometimes I get 1400 I can't get home hardly I have to fight them everytime I want to go home which is every 2-3 weeks. Then every now and then I have to go to the northeast. They have poor planners and will relay when they think you'll be late when your ahead of time. They just lost prepass so now every weigh station I have to enter. Its going downhill with a 99.9% of a turnover rate and theres many reasons why.

Danny Herman Trucking and Abilene Motor Express would probably work good for you.
Magnum Ltd. has a good reputation.
Freymiller also has a good reputation.
A&R Logistics has weekends home, but could be more for a new driver. The company strives for every weekend home though. My former neighbor in Tennessee makes $72K there, but the average is $62K which is still good money in my opinion.
Submit some apps. and see what happens. Do the online apps and follow with a phone call in a day or so.
