Check out epes transport.! Great place to work and have all the options you asked obout!

Most companies can get you home more than that. Standard home time for Full-time employees is 5-7 days for 30 days out. The easiest way to look at it is you get 1 day off for every week out. Check out Roehl, Transport America, Schneider, and Central Refrigerated just to name a few. If you are looking for more time then that, I think those employers have Flex Fleets too, where you go out 14 days and are home 7, but you have to slip seat on those schedules. Any more questions, just ask.

actually sdaniels is right Eeps is still a pretty decent company. they are out of Greensboro NC. I used to work for them but didn't like the freight lanes,(northeast). maint. was superb on the tractors.
http://www.epestransport.com/sdaniel Thanks this. -
Newkid,
Sdaniel is on to something. Epes does say on their website they take graduates from approved schools. As far as home time my old man works for them and he is home every weekend. -
I am a trainer for epes. Yes we take students' from approved schools. But with 6 months otr experience the school doesnt matter ! So a short training peroid he can be on his way ! Pm me and we can get the ball rolling .

Sdaniel,
thanks for clearing that up, sorry for the wrong information.. How is it being a trainer? -
I enjoy it! Like being able to "teach a man to fish "! Teach him a trade or skill so be can better himself and provide for him self.. its a lot of stress, my company requires us to be up in pass seat when the trainee is driving. Ask any company if they do this before going there for training! If the trainers asleep you will never get proper training. He will never see where you need help! Best of luck!
Sorry but proper training is so important! -
Sdaniel,
My dad works for Epes and was asked to consider training... he says the same thing. He is sure he can pass on good information and help someone become better. I am recently graduated school and I am set up to go with Schnieder. Don't be sorry, it's great that there are people like you who take training/ driving serious, and see it as more than just extra money. Thanks for doing the right thing, and thanks for the advice. What terminal are you out of?
