I got a 2 minutes phone interview with a recruiter from a company on your little list.
She checked all the boxes except the last one: Vaccination.
Union job, in Calgary, long haul up to 14h/day multiple deliveries AB/BC 28.67/h + OT.
Benefits after 3 mo. I was asked to call back when my vaccination status change.
Funny thing is I never applied for a job with them. They found my resume out there.
Asked my former employers for references and then emailed me. Bizarre.

    BigHossVolvo Thanks this.

    Desperation

I'm hoping this doesn't start over here, and we stick to people who apply.

According to Mr. Michael Anderson, at MB the starting rate offered to me was 28.67 as of yesterday afternoon. I couldn't make the short list due to not having the 2 vaccines required.
If you find it attractive and, you want to be part of MB team, I suggest to give them a call today.
They are working on a short list of applicants to make the On call list definitive.
    Good luck, @BigHossVolvo.

Redbone Trucking in SLC is a good company and if you have your HAZMAT, Maverik pays really well and takes care of their drivers too. (Maverik gas station). Headquarters are in SLC too.

It's an internal policy based on their fear of getting sued into oblivion by a dead snowflake's family.
It happened in the recent past. I don't blame them for it. It offers almost the same protection as a condom. You can still become a proud father after using one. And they can still be sued.

Their short list will become shorter if that’s their policy … the company I used to work for had around 50ish employees/ ownerops they lost a healthy dispatcher plus a healthy owner op. Two others who weren’t as healthy survived their heart attacks but now can’t drive unless they get cleared down the road.. 3 to 4 weeks after being compliant was a bad time for problems to show up unrelated of course ..

Here in Ontario at MB current drivers weren't required to get vaccinated. They did pay us for 3 hours if we did get each shot. I don't know about new hires.
