Looking for a different job with 100% no touch freight.

I know I just need to find a company I can stick with these pay checks arent cutting it.

 

I thought getting paod by the load was a great idea until im running from virginia to iowa empty with no pay. Didnt even think about it when they threw high numbers at me. And my old ladys looking at me crazy bc I been on the road for 2 months and nothing to show for it. Its xmas I'm from illinois and im sitting in a truck on the Alabama florida border. Shes not happy with me lol

 

Man that sucks :/ I’ve worked, and sat during Christmas. But it was by choice. Even that can suck.

Hopefully the wife will be more understanding if you get something that can bring some money in. Having the felony can make things hard. But there are some companies that will give you a chance. There used to be a job site that allowed you to search for companies that hired felons. I can’t recall what it was though.

Hell, check out oil field jobs. Yes, you’ll be away from home. But you’ll be making enough to keep the wife plenty happy.

Any way you go, you should be making about a grand minimum these days.

 

Ok thank you. I really dont mind bieng on the road and she wpuld either if the pays there. I cant blame her for bieng mad i am too. But I'll look into the oil field thing thank you.

My former oil field job (way back) was so sketchy they had to pay everyone with cashiers checks to even get them to show up. I worked for them for 2 years. Made hella money.

No she works for a home healthcare place and is at home with her 2 kids. And whats it mean when they say they pay practical miles? Sounds like a catch to me.

 

I dont think I can get hazmat my last felony was a robbery.
