    Don't waste your time with admiral merchants. Their load board is a joke. I pulled most of my freight from the DAT and truckstop load board when I was there. I was also told by several brokers that they do not work with admiral so I couldn't get the load. One broker told me he doesnt work with them because of double brokering. I spoke with admiral about it and they denied it immediately but never even tried to re-established a connection with those brokers.

    I'd avoid AM too if I were you. They'll give you access to their board if you want to look at it. It's extremely slow right now. You'll starve there. If the carrier doesn't have dedicated contracted freight for you to haul I wouldn't bother with them at all. Overhead is way too high for current rates to be profitable. You'd literally do better as a company driver local.
