Those 22’s and 23’s that Elkhorn Valley has listed are older than that. He’s repowering older 389’s and then when he does the assembled title in Nebraska he’s getting them titled as newer.

There are a few 2016 & 2018 Peterbilt gliders on IronPlanet. However, they are Fitzgerald gliders so I would plan on a rebuild in the near future.

I'm in a 2017 389 Fitzgerald glider, 12.7 , failure in #6 hole at 237,000. Complete inflame, including new head using all Detroit parts. Fitzgerald had so many miss matched parts including used parts it was pitiful. 729000 on it now and runs great. On the plus side Fitzgerald payed for the inflame, we payed the difference in parts cost from aftermarket to genuine Detroit. I wouldn’t buy a Fitzgerald unless it's been rebuild.

Ive got a 2016 w900 Fitzgerald with a 12.7. 550k miles and no issues so far. Im aware of some of the Fitzgerald rebuilds that have had major issues. Ive got a 12.7 rebuild kit that I ordered back in August that just came in a week or two ago. My plan is to rebuild in March. I do heavy haul so I dont need any surprises.....just rebuilding out of caution.

Not sure of accuracy but I was told that Fitzgerald starting resourcing parts from China for their rebuilds resulting in many premature failures.

    JoeyJunk and Schöne Thank this.
