That's what they say on the radio anyway. I never get down that way to verify.

Well in our justice system you are presumed innocent until found guilty in the court of law.

I no longer think Dave is worth a flip, and that happened before the big bust. My initial experience with him was substantial, I brought in a hacked-to-pieces radio and brought out a decent one, a big change for the positive in that particular radio. Once I had him tune a couple new ones, I was, to say the least, underwhelmed.

And the last thing I did before the big bust was bring him my Stryker 955, originally tuned by Clay at Clay's Radio Shop, because some people were saying I was splattering and sounded a little bit overmodulated on voice peaks (though not too badly)

When Clay tuned the radio I watched him like a hawk, he didn't touch the coils in the back of the radio. A little later on I was poking around in there and noticed L31 was spread wide open. Only Clay and Dave were ever inside that radio, and I know Clay didn't do that. Someone like Dave should know better. I haven't been back since, and a couple months later I got the news that he got busted.

OP, if you can get up to Madison Wisconsin you'll find a great tech.

" The Big Bust" funny, I never had DTB tune any radios of mine but I did have Clays replace the limiter and realign my 99v2 and Robert did a really good job. Like a rookie making a foolish mistake I allowed Mesa's in Wildweed FL do the initial tune, bad idea.

My radio that Dave worked wonders on was a 29 LX that I had originally brought to "Olgold's" at the Sapp Bros in Council Bluffs IA. I even had some reserve, but my desire for instant-total-gratification managed to displace my ability for rational thought...
