Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

I was just curious as to whether they were still around or not. Just remember them from talking to one of their drivers the time I spent 13 hours sitting in Opelika. Figured this thread would be the place to ask, since it's about Georgia driving jobs.
From what I remember of them, the three years makes sense. -
Well, what was the joke??

I live north of Atlanta on 85, a company called Davis has a terminal/office in Carnesville. But there's alot of terminals around Atlanta, Shaeffer, Werner, many more.
there is a company called Southern AG, out of Albany, Ga, I believe - they haul peanuts and by products mostly I believe. I talked to one of their drivers one time over coffee, he loved it. Mainly cause of his hometime. Hope this helps. GO DAWGS

OK, the joke goes as follows:
What do you have when there are 4 blonds laying under your semi trailer?
Air-ride suspension.
I love blond jokes! -
Thats right, I forgot Shaffer/Crete has a terminal in Marietta. There supposed to be good and I believe they do orientation at that terminal. Seven Hills trucking in Cartersville or J&M Tank Lines in west Cobb county are options as well. Continental Express is supposed to be great if you like real long hauls.
P.S. That was a good blond joke Lilbit, lolLast edited: Jan 5, 2009
