I was just curious as to whether they were still around or not. Just remember them from talking to one of their drivers the time I spent 13 hours sitting in Opelika. Figured this thread would be the place to ask, since it's about Georgia driving jobs.

From what I remember of them, the three years makes sense.

    Well, what was the joke??:)

I live north of Atlanta on 85, a company called Davis has a terminal/office in Carnesville. But there's alot of terminals around Atlanta, Shaeffer, Werner, many more.
there is a company called Southern AG, out of Albany, Ga, I believe - they haul peanuts and by products mostly I believe. I talked to one of their drivers one time over coffee, he loved it. Mainly cause of his hometime. Hope this helps. GO DAWGS :biggrin_25515:

OK, the joke goes as follows:

What do you have when there are 4 blonds laying under your semi trailer?

    Air-ride suspension.

    I love blond jokes!

Thats right, I forgot Shaffer/Crete has a terminal in Marietta. There supposed to be good and I believe they do orientation at that terminal. Seven Hills trucking in Cartersville or J&M Tank Lines in west Cobb county are options as well. Continental Express is supposed to be great if you like real long hauls.

P.S. That was a good blond joke Lilbit, lol
