I recently posted in the wrong section I believe I am an owner operator that has been in business a little over a year ( I do not have power )the company that I’m leased on with has started getting a little shady with the payments I was making $1.65 a mile plus fuel surcharge under their authority and doing pretty well I have been looking around at other companies in the to pay about the same $1.05 a mile a lot of them see percentage anywhere from 72% to 95% but if it’s cheap freight it still comes out to like a dollar a mile I’ve done backhauls from one company in particular in the whole percentage thing never paid out So like everyone else I guess I’m looking for suggestions of companies that pay decent thanks
Looking for a good company that pays

Hauling what kind of freight? Makes a difference in what would be considered good pay. Also, you may have had a bad experience with percentage, but I'd be willing to bet most o/o would only run on percentage, as long as they had access to the information to ensure the company isnt cheating them.

*note* about that previous post, I said access to the information. I personally have never asked for it because I wouldn't work anywhere I felt was cheating me to begin with, but i want to know i have access to that information if i do want it.
Mike Mci Thanks this. -

Kottke out of Florida pays $1.20 a mile according to their website. Boaty’s out of Georgia pays their o/o a percentage, my dad is leased on with them

Maybe say where you live, how often you want to go home, and where you are used to running and it’ll help people help you.
