If your safety record is good -- you would easily qualify for a "killer" gig with Dot Transportation .....or Walmart...or others....but with a hazmat endorsement.

Dot Transportation terminals -- & more info

    Note also....

The hazmat loads with those fleets will be common, everyday, mundane items we all know...& take for granted...like:

    • paint
    • charcoal
    • hairsprays
    • and so forth
With those fleets -- you won't be asked to pull loads of the nasty, scary stuff like:
    • anhydrous ammonia
    • nuclear waste
    • septic tank contents
    • nitroglycerin
    • Get the idea?
Hazmat isn't really anything to be spooked about....

You can see what ATS pays. They have a large van fleet. I work on the flatbed side and pretty much enjoy it. I'd say my pay is average, nothing earth shattering. I like just being a number and not knowing everyone. I mean it. I got sick of drama at my last company which was very small. I would call ATS a stable company with decent equipment and a large fleet of newer trucks.

They are based out of Minnesota but I spend most of my time all over the Midwest and the south. I've yet to be sent to anywhere out west in 6 months.
