I am looking for a step deck that is around 10000/11000 pound. Can you advise as to the best trailer to buy at or around this weight. My Tractor is 23300. Im considering a 53 foot step and am a bit concerned as I have a 280 WB with big sleeper, do you think this is practical. Thank you.

we run a 2006 fontaine infinty SX. 48' combo with outside aluminum wheels, two rear boxes, and a lumber cage up front between the frame rails. also have two fabricated aluminum load levelers and the trailer weight 10,700.

You don't have any problems with overall lenght like with Florida? Actually half dozen states have lenght restrictions if your trailer is over 48' but florida is $400 serious.

There are now steps in the 8600 range. Fontaine revolution is around that, and I think Wilsons are now too. Most aluminum steps are around the 9500 range.

Wilson is a nice wagon, don't like the super single tires tho. A flat and your waiting for a tire truck.
