Like @Chinatown recommended Gemeni, I have a friend who in the past 3 months went to work for them as a new driver fresh out of school making $28.50 per hour. He has averaged 60hrs per week and 8s making just under $2,000 per week hauling fuel.

He absolutely loves working for them even though it's been a short period of time.

Get your hazmat and doubles and triple first before you start shaking and moving … Gas or cryo could easily give you all you need , but also Linehaul with doubles… I know old dominion, hauls a lot of hazmat

In the meantime LinQ Transportation out of Bedford, TX although the yard is in Grand Prairie is hiring local drivers for dry vans. No endorsements required. Just be advised that they will work the heck out of you. They run the local drivers like OTR so after your last delivery once you're out of hours you'll PC back to the yard then you gotta be back in that day cab ready to roll at the end of your 10hr break. Then if you still have hours which you likely won't by the end of the week but if you do expect to be called in to take a load on Saturday. Good news is that they pay overtime and maybe the $1,800 paycheck at the end of the week might compensate for the lack of sleep.

I drive for them, good outfit. Having said that, I drove local for a few months and switched back to OTR because it pays so much better. They are seriously great at getting us all back home for weekends, which isn’t the same thing as sleeping at home every night, but at least I’m not out in my truck away from home for weeks at a time.
