    My first week in my new truck I did a round to LA and had to run 75-80 when I could to be able to make it back without doing a reset and I saved nearly $700 in fuel over my old 579. As the truck breaks in and fuel goes up the savings will only increase.

    It would surprise me if you don’t pick up an additional 1 mpg as it breaks in. Possible a little more. My new one on its maiden voyage to the SW only got 6.75 but I’m expecting 7.75 to 8 and that’s governed at 75.

    Tall bunk, shorter wheelbase, tank fairings, auto trans with 2.79 rears. The new front end is more efficient than the old hood too.
