There is a YouTuber named Country who seems to be satisfied with his L/P at Mercer. In general though, they are not great financial decisions.
Lonesome Thanks this. -
As one person suggested, you could do Landstar. You'd have to secure a truck though I believe before you could even go to orientation. And orientation is about a good month from when you apply, give or take a week.

If you have no money and no credit you will not survive a L/P.
Surprise surprise, my Elwood load cancelled because Georgia Pacific is run by a gaggle of incompetent turds. Now no matter what I do at this point this week is ruined. And now I can't afford to go home because bills that would have been paid by this settlement will go unpaid.
All that needs to happen is for a single thing to go wrong and it ruins my whole week.
I wanna kill myself. I want to die. I want to leave this planet and never return because at least then, I won't have to file for bankruptcy as a result of turning the truck in early. This was a post from a LP guy a few years ago. Things have only gotten harder since then. Fuel and insurance is higher, rates are lower. If you can't support yourself for 6 months without any income from the truck, you're not going to make it.
Going back to OTR with Schneider Lease Purchase!
