I'm moving down to Fort Myers in a week or so and I'd like to have a job waiting there when I get there.

I've got a little over 4 years experience (2 years exclusivly OTR, 2 years midwest regional) with two companies (2 years apiece) hauling dry vans.
I've got some dings on my license (1 speeding ticket last year, a few for seat belts and not up to date log books) and 2 years ago my license was suspended because the courthouse didn't receive payment for a $25 dollar ticket and failed to notify me. Got a ticket for driving on a suspended and within about 12 hours I got my license was reinstated.
    No accidents/incidents/DUI's ever.

I'd prefer a Southeast regional route but if I get the right offer who knows?

Most likely Yes. Why would a company in such a difficult place for truckers as South Florida consider hiring anyone with less than a squeeky clean CDL? Choose just about any other Southeast state and you'll be just fine.

I don't think Swift or any carrier is going consider you, best bet is to call a small company or drive a taxi cab.
