Looking for accountant/ financial planner

Just make sure they know about trucking. My 1st acct. didn't know jack, and I paid a lot in taxes. The 2nd guy knew his stuff.

If your making that much after expenses, and depreciation. Talk to a financial planner. I would look at the Dave Ramsey web site not Gordon Ramsey. Dave says he has vetted people to work with. I have never looked but he says it again and again on his web site. I can pm you my truck accountant.

I agree. I've dealt with a couple of Dave Ramsey's accredited folks and they are solid.

Seems to me you need an old school guy that has worked with a few truckers. I'd ask some older small business owners in your area for a referral. Friends of parents, parents of friends. That's the small town way that's always given me the best results.
