If the driver of the car had room to sneak in to his right then the driver failed to set up for his turn properly, end of story. However, i still wouldn't say that it's the drivers fault, and i do myself find it hard to believe that no turn signal was used.. We all know how important our turn signals are, ESPECIALLY when knowing four wheelers make moves like this.

Chessy, please, there are rules written by legislators on how to drive, then there is just plain common sense in certain situations. As an example, the rules state that you cannot cross the limit line at a r/r xing. But common sense says stay far back from the line in case of de-railment. Keep your distance from trucks. Don't play tag, you're setting yourself up.

Dumb answer. Read the message BEFORE speaking. The witness said I was there for up to 10 seconds before the truck STARTED to make his turn. I was in my designated lane. He never once looked in his mirror. ME THINKS ME BELONGS IN ME RIGHTFUL LANE. Furthermore, I too have signals on my car. I use them to indicate to others my "intent" to change lanes or turn corners. BUT IT DOES NOT GIVE ME THE "RIGHT OF WAY" nor the right to run someone over! You have a bigger vehicle, THAT'S ALL. The rules of the road apply to you as well.

So, because you drive a bigger vehicle, the rules of the road do not apply to you? Ever hear of "care and control" of you OWN vehicle? I was in my DESIGNATED lane, not moving, for 10 seconds BEFORE he STARTED his turn. Your answers shows lack of respect for other drivers. Shows what kind of a driver you are as well. LOL. Good luck where you are now!

Sometimes accidents happen. The story has been told here by the guy in the car that got run into. He was there, the rest of us weren't.

HE, the trucker, was going out the incoming lane. I advanced in my designated lane. I was sitting there for up to 10 seconds BEFORE the truck STARTED to make his turn. He never ONCE looked in his mirror, he admitted this, as he was watching the busy highway.

I did not SNEAK. My entire lane was free and clear. I do appreciate your comment, but a signal is an "intent" to turn, NOT a right of way. I too have signals, but it does not give me the right to go into someone elses "designated" lane and run them over. Hell, if that was that law, forget guns, get a vehicle! OHHH, but remember to signal. Have a wonderful day. Safe driving.

I appreciate your comment. The average driver DOES NOT think like a truck driver though. YOU are the PROFESSIONAL DRIVER. TRAINED in how to make wide right turns, and their dangers. I was sitting adjacent to the truck for up to 10 seconds (says the witness) BEFORE he STARTED to make his turn. He ADMITTED he never ONCE looked in his mirror to see IF anyone had advanced in their RIGHTFUL lane. I PREsumed he was going left, as I did not see a right signal.

COMMON SENSE tells me a so called, hmmm, PROFESSIONAL driver would have care and control of his vehicle. All men are not created equal, NEITHER are all truck drivers! Defending bad truck drivers make you all look bad. YOU are the PROFESSIONALS. You want some respect, GIVE SOME.
