OK, here's the deal. Credit-Bad. Divorce-Upcoming. Money-See Divorce.
Looking into getting back on the road with my own truck. I have over 13 yrs. running refrigerated and dry van 48 states and Canada. I have run my own trucks before, leased on to other Carriers.
Options:
1. Buy a used truck and trailer and go O/O.
2. Buy a used truck and Lease on somwhere.
3. Try another Fleece Purchase.
Reasons for trucking again.
After divorce will have no credit, no real cash, and no place to live.
I may be able to get a small loan ($5,000 - 15,000) to start a business from family. I would need to make enough to cover Child Support and savings for another start at life. Wouldn't have any other bills due to the bankruptcy after the divorce.
Looking for some advice on the reality of making a living out there anymore.
Looking for advice on going O/O or L/O

So why don't you wait a while, get some money of your own, fix your credit, and go from there?
-
That could be a possibility, but would rather not have to drive forced dispatch anymore.
-
Work for someone like Crete who gives you options on runs. It's still forced dispatch per se`, but you have a little say in the matter.
