looking for advice on the best way to get into hauling heavy equipment

    I imagine you would probably start as a dump truck driver at a larger earth moving type outfit. I am not sure what type of experience they would require for a 3 axle unit. After that, make sure your boss knows you want to move up to a tractor trailer set up. Do that for a while, probably help with the RGN work, or loading equipment. Sooner or later, you would probably get an opportunity. I would imagine those are probably the most sought after jobs at those companies. Anything smaller and I don't think that is what you would be doing consistently.
