Honestly, that doesn't answer the question "How much can you afford?". What is your projected revenue? How much payment can you handle and still pay your other bills as well as set money back into savings for maintenance and repairs?

I am not associated wit this truck, and know nothing about it other than what is in the ad, however, it peaked my interest as a possible good deal owing to the fresh rebuilt N-14, and its in California, where it is illegal to run, and hard to sell. Its a private party seller, the son of a man who can longer drive due to health.... That's a motivated seller.
It would need checking out, but hell, you can buy the truck for less than the rebuild cost.... asking $14,000

Projected revenue I could swing about an 1800 payment or so plus have money into a maintenance acct.

There is just no way to describe all that is wrong with that mess: from enforcement, his lack of maintenance and obvious lack of concern, public's safety (including us). This crap and people's attitude toward driving make me wonder why I am still out there doing this.

I'm still looking for a truck but have been looking at dealers mainly. I've found a few for sale by owner but not many.
