I completed school a about a month ago, give or take a week. Recently went to Werner. Attended orientation, but ended up leaving while waiting for a trainer. The primary reason was due to family issues. My fiance is currently in a high risk pregnancy. She has appointments every other week, and soon they'll be changing them to every week. The issue arises with getting her to those appointments. She can't drive yet, so I'm usually the only person who can take her. I'm considering waiting until she's given birth, but that would likely bring more issues. Wouldn't mind relocating if it'd make things more reasonable.
If anyone has been in a similar situation or has any advice on how one should proceed in regards to picking another company and home time, etc. I'd love to hear your thoughts/experiences.

Where is your location now? Find a local CDL job or relocate to where local CDL jobs are.
She can Uber to her appointments if you live in a good location. Even with a local job you may not be able to take her to every appointment, but at least you can see her later that day. @SuspicionJay
Let us know your location so we can help you find a local job. We can also help you find a decent place to relocate that's good for a family.Last edited: Oct 30, 2017

The mega corporations are not the only avenue to a driving job.
It is hard without any experience but keep putting out applications for local gigs. -

Why don't you try the food companies. Like Sysco and there are two more. Forget the names. You'll be home everyday.
Still won't make it easy to provide transportation for your fiance. -
